I bought this and it's horrible. It doesn't even work with the iPhone 3GS! It will only hold it if it's standing straight up and only if you don't go over any bumps in the road, accelerate, or slow down. Also, it doesn't work in a 2005 Honda civic, a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, or a 1985 Cadillac Seville. The transmitter is weak and the iPhone blocks it so you have use the remote pointing directly from the top. I would not recommend this for my enemies. If hitler himself came back to life I would not give this to him because it would be too cruel. Don't buy this, you will be grossly disappointed.

The product was received damage and was returned so I have no review...just hoping Amazon treats my return properly...I should not be charge for having to return items I purchased with the defective product...I no need for the additional items..so why would I keep them.

I havnt tryed it in my truck yet, but it dosnt seem to hold the ipod touch very well. the sides that you sqweeze dosnt hold on to the ipod very well. it should lock it into place. dos not hold it very well.

Does not fit into my car cigarette lighter, 2009 Audi A4. Awkward and unsuitable fit. Unable to plug in fully due to design conflict of this device and 2009 Audi A4.
I tested using a rear seat cigarette lighter and at least it is able to charge my iPhone 4. Did not proceed to test further features.
Take note to fit into your auto cigarette, it needs 3-5 inch clearance.
Give it a 3-star since it is a reasonable design, given the reasonable cost!

This item is pretty damn great I must admit. It works. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the irritating remote that you have to use just to turn it on and off. The sound quality is good in my car but if I turn it up using the remote while it gets louder the static gets really bad. Speaking of static unless I turn up the volume with the remote there isn't any. I don't have to change radio stations all the time! Last thing I wish the neck were flexible. Where my lighter is in my car makes where the iPod sit kinda awkward it's straight up and I can't read the songs. Still a great product.
